Burlington-Hampshire CROP Hunger Walk
The CROP Walk raises money to fight against the challenges of disease, disaster, displacement and other concerns that leave people hungry. Join with us as we raise funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need today and sustainable food security for tomorrow. Walk with First UMC Hampshire, St. John's UCC Harmony, St. Paul's UCC Elgin or contact Barb Kamp to register your group. ***25% of money raised goes directly to the B-H Food Pantry. |
St. Charles Borromeo Friends of the Poor Walk
Ending Poverty Through Systemic Change The Society of St. Vincent DePaul is made up of men and women who offer person-to-person service to those in need in our local community. We make home visits to assist with food, rent, utility bills, and other types of hardships those in need face. We serve all who request assistance without regard for race, color, or creed. We advocate for systemic change that would help eliminate the causes of poverty. |
